Four Year Four Crop

Vegetable Project

    In order to initiate the development of certified organic vegetable production information, a vegetable crop rotation system was established in 2003.  The objective of the project was to determine how 4 warm season vegetables would respond to Organic- approved production practices.  Crops were chosen for their importance in Southern Oklahoma and included Sweet Corn, Tomato, Southern Peas and Watermelon.
